Apricorn Press #3: Breeding with two power items
Two breeding power items can lock two stats at once. Everything else is rolled between the parents, overlapping 31s pass for free, and gender is still the NPC beside the daycare lady.
Daycare on Eternals eats the parents. You can use two breeding power items in one breed, and both of them guarantee their stat. Any stat that is not sitting on a power item is randomized between the two parents. If both parents are already 31 in that stat, the 31 passes down with no item. Gender You can choose the offspring's gender. That is how a Dratini line stays the species you meant to keep, instead of flipping to the other parent. Gender is not on the breed screen yet. It is a separate NPC next to the daycare lady, in the front lobby of the daycare. Staff said that NPC gets folded into the breed button later. Until then, talk to her neighbor. Where the 31s come from A 1×31 or a 2×31 has to be caught, or bought off the GTS. The daycare does not invent a 31 neither parent had. Selling those breeder Pokémon is its own job. What the chart says a spread costs The chart posted with the guide prices a breeding power item at $1,200 and choosing gender at +$500. The totals it prints down the left side: Spread Chart total --- --- 2×31 $2,400 3×31 $7,700 4×31 $18,300 5×31 $39,500 6×31 $81,900 Staff said the in-game daycare should match this chart, and that anything which does not will be fixed. Still queued on the first breeding update: an offspring preview when you hover, gender on the Breed button, and a breeding shop.
